Serendah Waterfall & River Print E-mail

It was a beautiful day. It was too warm but the day was filled with clear blue skies and everything nice. After chilling at the waterfall for a while, we wanted to go upstream to explore.

Blue skies and everything nice

We walked through the wilderness in search of a good spot to rest our ass. With the lush green surroundings, it was a pleasant stroll since it was much cooler under the trees. From far, those people in front of me could have passed off as shirtless fair-skinned orang asli.

Through the wilderness

When we got there, the view was simply breath taking!........ Ok, it wasn't exactly jaw-dropping because most of us were too restless to even care. Some were already lighting up, one was setting up the picnic mat so that our bags wouldn't get dirty, one was walking through the shallow waters and one was busy clicking away.

The water is clean and clear and it definitely had my OK to sink my feet in the cool water. It wasn't as chilly as I hope it would be. I was extra careful with my steps. Knowing what a big klutz I can be, I really didn't want to flat face down. I wouldn't mind getting damp but I'd cry if anything happens to my camera!

Clean and Clear

After less than 10 minutes in the water, we were famished! You have to compliment me for my foresightedness because I got some curry puffs from Damansara Utama when we had our lunch at Village Park. Some might have snickered that we were too full to have snacks later but they were so wrong.

Mmm yummy Curry puffs

It started to drizzle. We had to head back to our shed. It was a long walk back and by the time we got there, it stopped drizzling! The weather have been crazy. We didn't waste any time so we continued to soak in the swimming pool. I wished I had taken some pics of it. You'd love it. I think the swimming pool was one of the main feature that lured me to this place.

And then.. right after our shower, I got a lovely surprise. Right from 5th Avenue!
